In the IOC's missions of supporting academic researchers interested in the Olympic Games and the Olympic Movement and strengthening the dialogue between the them and the academic community, the IOC is pleased to offer us and many other relevant academic partners the possibility to join them on april 20th and 23rd for a new On the Line with an Expert session, on the topic of ”Social development through sport in the Olympic Agenda 2020+5”.
In the first session Ms Jojo Ferris, Head of Olympic Refuge Foundation, will present how the IOC works to strengthen the role of sport as an important enabler for the UN Sustainable Development Goals and how it supports refugees and populations affected by displacement through the Olympic Refuge Foundation.
